The Labour Party is a party of the people. People like you, who are committed to developing a fairer more just society, where prosperity and growth is held in equal respect with compassion and tolerance.
Here in Easington Constituency the Labour Party has a great history but we never take our past achievements for granted and we continue to strive to achieve the best for all residents, of all ages and backgrounds.
Our Councillors are committed to delivering the best public services possible, despite increasingly drastic Tory cuts. We work with the NHS, Police, other Public Services, local businesses and charities to achieve the best possible outcomes for our constituency.
Our Constituency Labour Party (CLP) operates using the All Member Meeting (AMM) format.
Meetings are held monthly (except August and December) and as the name suggests are open to all members to attend and vote on motions. The venue for the AMM is shown in the map below.
In addition there are monthly* Executive Committee (EC) meetings, membership of which comprises the CLP elected Executive and functional officers, along with Branch delegates.
The EC oversee the day-to-day running of the CLP.
